I am finally using these curls - its funny the curls seem darker and less "gray" but the yarn is looking grayer than that. I guess it is the mix. I am carding the curls and then spinning in the greese (not washing the wool first) and then when i am all done I will wash the yarn slightly to retain the beautiful lanolin. I hope to make a shawl?? Stay tuned...
